As some of us technicians have similar backgrounds, My Name is Emanuel and my journey began in my Dads home garage years ago. I was just a kid back then and my role was to be the tool guy, second hand assistant, light spotter, you name it and most of the time my dad would tell me "watch and learn". Haha good times and lots of memories. I was introduced into the automotive industry through watching My Dad's Efforts to fixing our Family car. Man, sometimes my Dad would perform miracles that would just get us home before the van completely broke down, but that got me asking questions. What's wrong this time? Why is the van doing that? how does it work? with these questions it created a small desire to pursue this career not knowing what i was getting into. I reached grade 11 in highschool and I found out there was an opening for First year foundations Automotive Service Technician program at UFV. i signed up and for the next 10 months i was undergoing tons of theory and practical training. In the end i did successfully completed the first year program as one of the top students and landed my first job at a local automotive shop. As my journey still continues today, i dont forget that my Dad is the one who gave me the nudge to pursue this career as a Automotive Service technician and now its my turn to start wrenching and keep the wheels going for my family, friends and community.
Thank you DAD👍
